SMS Rental has been awarded a contract to provide a fleet of equipment on a dry hire arrangement to Abigroup/GLH Joint Venture for the Cape Lambert Port B Upgrades, which is part of Rio Tinto Iron Ores expansion plans. SMS Rental also have a fitter onsite full time to assist in the maintenance of the equipment.
The fleet onsite includes:
- 6x Cat 773B & 773D Dump Trucks
- 4x Bell B50D Articulated Dump Trucks
- 1x Hitachi ZX870-3 Excavators
- 2x Hitachi EX1200-5 Excavators
